Now DOT tickets and commuter cards are available in one app

There's a new app for you, which makes it easy to buy all types of tickets for bus, train and metro on Zealand and the islands - including your commuter card. With the new DOT Tickets app you'll have easy access to all DOT tickets.

How to create a new user profile for the DOT Tickets app

  1. Open the DOT Tickets app.
  2. Enter your phone number and press Continue.
  3. Enter the code sent by text message and press Continue.
  4. Save your payment card in the Profile settings by pressing Profile > Payment cards > Add new card (top left corner)
  5. Now you are ready to purchase single tickets
  6. If you wish to purchase a commuter card, continue to type in your personal data in the Profile settings

TIP: Remember to save your email address in the DOT Tickets app. This way you can easily retrieve your tickets and purchase history, if you change your phone number or need to reinstall the app.

How to retrieve your tickets in the DOT Tickets app

Your tickets and purchase history are not automatically restored when you reinstall the DOT Tickets app, or when you change your phone number.

If you save your email address in the app Profile settings prior to the changes, you can retreive them by following this guide:

  1. Enter your phone number in DOT Tickets app and enter the SMS activation code
  2. Follow the instructions in the app to enter your email address
  3. Once this is done, you will receive an email with a link
  4. Open the email via your phone and press the link
  5. You will be lead back to DOT Tickets app from the web page
  6. Enter your payment card details in the Profile settings > Payment cards > Add new card, or during a purchase flow. For security reasons, your payment card is not automatically restored.
