The ticket is only valid when you have received it in the app

You may only start your journey once you have received the ticket in the DOT Tickets app. The ticket must be active so that you can show it at ticket inspection. You risk getting a fine if you buy the ticket after boarding the train/bus/metro.

Blocking ticket purchases

The traffic companies can block your mobile phone number from purchasing tickets in DOT Tickets app if there is a justified suspicion of abuse or attempted abuse.

Abuse of the system can for instance be multiple unconfirmed orders, purchases after boarding, transferring tickets or commuter cards between different customers or attempts at modifying tickets. Blocked customers will still be able to buy mobile tickets in vending machines, Rejsekort and via DOT SMS Tickets. However, in case of systematic abuse or abuse of a particularly serious nature, customers' mobile phone numbers can also be blocked for purchases via the DOT SMS Tickets.

Complaints about blocking can be addressed to the DOT Customer Center.
