House rules for DOT's Facebook page

On the DOT Facebook page, we would like to engage in a dialogue about DOT's products, activities, and services. You are very welcome to ask questions, make suggestions, post pictures, and express your opinion on DOT-related topics. We welcome both criticism and praise. Just remember to maintain a respectful and pleasant tone in your posts here. Additionally, there are some legal guidelines you should be aware of.
If you are looking for traffic information or want to purchase tickets, we recommend visiting our website www.dinoffentligetransport.dk or www.rejseplanen.dk.

1. How do I know if it's DOT that has responded to me?

DOT's logo and the sender name 'DOT' to the left of a comment are your guarantee that the response was written by a DOT employee. DOT does not take responsibility for the content of responses from other profiles, even if the individuals claim to be affiliated with DOT or DOT's partners.

2. Language use

A good debate culture and a polite tone are crucial for us. It should be a pleasant environment for everyone to engage in. Therefore, we reserve the right to remove comments and posts that contain offensive language or offensive content.

3. Personal sensitive information

Take care of yourself and others - do not use personal sensitive information on the page.

4. Why tell me to contact you through the website or email? I just contacted you on Facebook.

On DOT's Facebook, we do not handle cases as such. This is because case processing usually requires the use of sensitive personal information, which, as mentioned in point 3, we keep strictly separate from Facebook. This way, we comply with the rules of good administrative practice – and you are also ensured that your case is handled correctly and with the rights that come with it.
A general rule of thumb is that on DOT Facebook, we are more than happy to provide general guidance on products, for example. But if your inquiry requires that your specific card or ticket be looked up in the system, we will refer you to the transportation company that has access to this information.
Complaints and questions that involve monetary payouts are not addressed on DOT Facebook. However, we are more than willing to guide you on where you can get assistance with your inquiry instead.

5. Exclusion from DOT Facebook

Users who repeatedly violate our house rules may be blocked from DOT Facebook without prior notice.

6. Advertising and spam

Spam is not allowed on our pages. Spam is defined as posts that solely aim to derail the discussion. Examples of types of posts that will be considered as spam and hidden on the page: Posts that solely seek to promote other businesses, products, or events unrelated to DOT. Posts that are excessively repeated in multiple places on the page, even if they are related to DOT content. A post that doesn't fall within one of these two categories may still be considered spam in certain cases and will be handled as such. The determination of what is considered spam is solely at DOT's discretion.

7. Can I upload photos and videos to your pages?

We really appreciate many of you sharing photos and short videos with us. However, please remember that pictures featuring other travelers or DOT employees may potentially violate privacy laws. Posts containing such photos or videos may, therefore, be deleted. You can learn more about the rules for publishing photos and videos online here: Sociale netværk og internettet – hvad skal du være opmærksom på? We also refer to Facebook's own rules and guidelines, which can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms.
