Without ticket
You can bring small dags and small pets that are kept in handbags or cages during the entire journey for free.

- Handbag or a crate may not be bigger than 100x60x30 cm
- The bag or crate should be placed under or above your seat, on your lap or in another designated luggage area
- Dogs/pets must stay ind the bag or crate during the entire journey
- Pets are not allowed on the seats.

Where to buy ticket for your dog.
The rules are:
- Dogs on a leash must stay on the floor or in the wagon during the entire journey
- You can only bring one dog on a leash or in a wagon.
- In Movia buses dogs on a leash or in a wagon can not travel by bus in rush hours in the zones 1-4, 30-33 and 40-44

If you bring your dog on the metro, please avoid the first and last six seats of the train, which are reserved for people with allergies.

How to buy a ticket for your dog
Dogs on a leash or in a wagon must have their own ticket. A ticket for a dog is equivalent to a child's ticket. It costs approximately half of a regular adult ticket.
In DOT Tickets app
In the DOT Tickets app, you can purchase a child ticket for your dog and pay for it using your credit card or MobilePay.
In the Rejsebillet app
Buy a Child Ticket for your dog in the app, use Credit Card or MobilePay.
Via SMS
Send an SMS to 1415 with your starting zone followed by 'H' (for 'hund' in Danish). You will receive the ticket via SMS and pay through your phone bill.
From ticket machine
Buy a ticket for your dog from the ticket machines at all train and metro stations as well as local railway stations in West and South Zealand.
On the bus
Purchase a ticket for your dog in cash from the bus driver if you do not check it in using your Rejsekort.
On Rejsekort
Check in your dog at the Rejsekort reader or the check-in extra card reader at the station.

Questions regarding pets
Pets and dogs in transport bags, or crates must be placed under or above your seat, on your lap or in other places designed for luggage.
Dogs on a leash must stay on the floor or in the cart during the entire journey.Bus, train and Metro have different rules for where you can sit with your dog. Read the rules for where your pet may stay on the bus, train and Metro.
And remember that the staff's instructions must always be followed.
If your dogs or pets can be in one or more transport bags or crates smaller than 100x60x30cm, you are welcome to bring more than one animal. However, within reasonable limits, and it is always up to the staff to assess whether there is room.
NOTE: You may only bring one dog on a leash or in a cart per traveler.
If your dog is too big or cannot keep calm in a transport bag box or crate that is smaller than 100x60x30cm during the entire journey, it must be on a leash on the floor or in a wagon.
Please note that you must have a ticket (child ticket) for the dog when it is in a wagon, and that it is always up to the staff to assess whether there is room for the wagon.
Yes, you are welcome to have your dog in a stroller if you are traveling within the rules mentioned abowe.
Remember that dogs in carriages, including pushchairs, must have a valid ticket.
Note that there may be restrictions, for example on buses, on how many prams/strollers there is room for. In the end, it is always up to the staff to assess whether there is room.
