- Choose if you City Pass should be valid for Copenhagen City Centre, the Capital Region, Zealand or the islands.
- City Pass Small and Large are valid for 24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours.
- City Pass X-Large, West and South are valid for 24 hours.
- Take two children under 12 years for free.
- Children (12-15 years) travel at half price.

In the DOT Tickets app, you can purchase multiple City Passes on a single mobile device. You can also buy City Passes on separate mobile devices, so you're not dependent on travelling together all the time.
Therefore, it can be advantageous to have your City Pass on your own mobile device, allowing you the flexibility to split up if you want to experience different things during your stay.
If you have a City Pass in the DOT Tickets app, you can see the expiry time in the app.
If you purchased your City Pass from a ticket machine, you can find the expiry time on the physical ticket.
Yes, all buses, trains and metro services in the capital are included in City Pass Small, Large and X-Large, which also covers harbour buses, such as those that cross the harbour to The Opera.
With City Pass Syd and Vest, you can travel freely on all public transport within the specified coverage area.
Yes, City Pass Small, Large and X-Large are also valid for the harbour buses that, for example, sail to The Opera, Nyhavn and The Royal Library.
Yes, children aged 12-15 can buy City Pass at half price.
A Single Ticket for 2 zones costs DKK 24, 3 zones cost DKK 30, and 4 zones cost DKK 38. Therefore, you don't have to take many trips before a City Pass becomes cheaper.

You risk receiving an inspection fee if you cannot show your ticket in the DOT Tickets app upon ticket inspection. Therefore it's a good idea to make sure your mobile phone is fully charged before leaving home.
If you don't need your City Pass after all, you can get a refund before your City Pass becomes valid.
Here's how:
- Open the DOT Tickets app and find your City Pass receipt in the app: Go to 'My DOT', tap the gear icon 'Profile & receipts', and locate the receipt under 'Purchase history'.
- Alternatively, you can call us at 7015 7000 (select any form of transportation after calling).

Processing time:
We will refund the money to your payment card (for purchases made in the DOT Tickets app) or transfer it to your NemKonto (a dedicated Danish bank account). For refunds to your NemKonto, it usually takes about five days for the amount to be paid into your account.
If your City Pass is already valid, you cannot get a refund.
If your City Pass is valid or has been valid, you cannot get a refund unless you were unable to use the ticket due to technical issues. In that case, you can call us at 7015 7000.
Yes, a City Pass can be refunded in case of death or illness.

You will need to include a receipt for the purchase and a medical certificate or documentation from a hospital stating that you were unable to use bus, train and metro services during the specified period due to illness.
In case of death, the refund can be made retroactively. In this case, you must enclose a copy of the probate court certificate.
