Reimbursement for mobile tickets

In general, mobile tickets cannot be refunded or reimbursed. However, there are a few exceptions:

Exceptions may be possible for mobile tickets in case of technical difficulties or downtime at the transport companies without the possibility of replacement transport. This can only be done by contacting one of the transport companies’ customer service centres and only if the ticket or mobile zone card has not been used. In the case of clips on a zone card, they will be credited and returned to the card.

If the mobile ticket is paid by credit card, the money will be credited to the payment card (i.e. the account associated with the payment card). This will take place immediately or within a few days.

Mobile tickets that have been pre-ordered, i.e. purchased on this website before the day of use, can be cancelled by contacting one of the transport companies’ customer service centres no later than 24 hours before the start of validity.

If the mobile ticket is purchased and paid via SMS, then the telecommunications company is responsible for collecting the cost of the ticket, and is also responsible for the reimbursement. The money is thus credited to your telephone bill and this takes place automatically. Note, however, that in some cases it may take some time; in special cases, it can take up to 3 months before the money is refunded.

If the mobile ticket was purchased via payment card, please note that for certain cards it may take up to 30 business days before the amount is credited to the account. This applies, for example, to Visa Electron and Mastercard. You can read about these terms on your bank’s website. This also applies to reserved amounts released by the transport companies.
