How refund is calculated for the Commuter Card / Commuter Pass
The Commuter Card / Commuter Pass is considered to be used on the day it is refunded, and the pass is only marked as expired the night after the refund.
Refund for first day of validity
The purchase price of the card is refunded.
Refund during the validity period
Paper card with 30 days’ validity
2 times the cash ticket price for the number of zones the season pass applies to, per day, will be deducted for the first 3 days the pass is used. Then 5% per day of the remaining amount after 3 days. After 23 days, no refund is issued.
Paper card with 31-180 days’ validity
For the first 30 days, refunds are made in the same way that applies to cards with 30 days' validity. Unused days after this will be refunded at the purchase price per day.

4-22 days | Purchase price: 6 cash tickets for the number of zones for which the card/pass is valid - 5 % of residual value per day after the third day |
23-30 days | No refund |
31-180 days | You will be refunded unused days for the purchase price. Price per day is the purchase price/number of days. The price and number of days is indicated on the Season Pass. |
Fee
When refunding or changing a paper Season Pass, a fee of DKK 40 is imposed.
Refund
The refund is made to the payment card that was used for the purchase. It can take up to 4 business days for the amount to be available in your account.
