Find out if your lost property has been handed in, and claim it back

You must enquire about lost property to the company you travelled with. Choose below which means of transport you used on the journey:

  • Bus (incl. harbour bus)
  • Train
  • Metro
  • Local Trains

The transport companies have different procedures as to how long lost property is stored. Read more by using the form below.

If you have travelled with different means of transport

If you have travelled by several different modes of transport, such as bus and train or on buses run by different operators, you should enquire about lost property to all the relevant transport companies.

Where did you lose your property?

  • Bus

    If you have forgotten your umbrella, bag or something in one of our buses, local trains or harbour buses, do not contact Trafikselskabet Movia, but rather the companies that operate the buses and trains for us.

    Be aware that some bus routes are operated by multiple companies. In these cases, you may need to contact more than one company to find your lost property.

  • Train

    If you have forgotten something on your train journey with DSB, you can make an enquiry using the form here:

  • Metro

    If you lost something on your journey with the Metro, you can enquire about it with this form:

     

    Storage and retrieval of lost property

    Lost property is stored for 10 days at Metro Service, after which it is delivered to the police office for lost property.

    Lost property can be retrieved at Metro Customer Service on Monday - Friday at 8.00 - 16:00

    After 10 days the lost property is delivered to the police. They can be contacted here:

    The police office for lost property is closed between Christmas and New Years.

  • Local Trains

    If you have forgotten something in our train, please fill out the form below.

    If the item turns up, we will get back to you as soon as possible, stating where and when you can pick up the item.

    Lost items are kept for a maximum of one month, after which they are transferred to Copenhagen Police Headquarters.
