Single tickets and bicycle tickets
If you've bought tickets that are valid from the moment of purchase, you cannot get a refund unless you were unable to use the ticket due to technical malfunctions or service disruptions by the transportation companies without alternative transportation.
If you wish to apply for a refund for a Single ticket, then contact the company, where your were planning to travel.

If you have purchased your ticket from DSB, you can get a refund until the day before departure.
Day passes
You can get a full refund before your City Pass becomes valid. If your City Pass is or has been valid, you cannot get a refund unless you were unable to use the ticket due to technical malfunctions or service interruptions by the transportation companies without the possibility of alternative transportation.
Apply for a refund for a City Pass, that is not yet valid in the DOT Tickets App, or by contacting DOT or one of the companies.

Refund in case of illness and death

If you have the City Pass in the DOT Tickets app, you can also send documentation to Movia.

- Refunds in DOT Tickets App
Before a Travel Pass is valid, it is possible to receive a full refund by contacting DOT's customer service.
A valid Travel Pass, in principle, cannot be exchanged, modified, or refunded. In special cases, a refund may be possible if it hasn't been used, for instance, due to errors or interruptions by transportation companies. Refunds can only be processed by contacting DOT's customer service.
After the expiration of the validity period, a Travel Pass cannot be refunded.

Monthly passes
- Before Commute20 becomes valid, you can get a full refund.
- During the validity period, the value of 5 days and the used days are deducted.
- After the expiration of the validity period: No refund
If you have purchased the wrong zones or commuter card supplement, and the commuter card is still valid, you can request a refund for the commuter card and order a new one. It is not possible to refund the commuter card supplement separately.
An activated Commute20 travel day cannot be reversed, so you cannot get a refund or reversal of an activated travel day.
If you purchased Commute20 in the DOT Tickets app or DSB app, you can refund the pass in the app yourself. This is done without a fee.
For all types of refunds and changes made through personal service or here on this site, a fee of 40 DKK per transaction is charged.

It usually takes about 5 days before the amount is in your account.
If your Pensioner Pass hasn't been used or only partially used, you can get some of the money back.
- If you've used the pass for 1-30 days, you'll receive 2/3 of the price back.
- If you've used the pass for 30-60 days, you'll receive 1/3 of the price back.
- If you've used the pass for 61+ days, you won't receive any money back.
Note: The day the pass is refunded is considered as used.
If you want to refund or exchange your pensioner pass, you need to bring the pensioner pass to a sales point with personal service.
For all types of refunds and changes, a fee of 40 kr. per transaction will be charged.
If you have lost your pensioner pass, the card cannot be refunded or replaced.
Deaths
In case of death, the Pensioner Pass can be refunded retroactively. A copy of the probate court certificate must be enclosed
