When do you need to switch to the new app?
The DOT Tickets app can be used throughout 2025, but there will be a gradual transfer of products to the Rejsebillet app during the year. See times for changes to both Rejsekort as an app and Rejsebillet below. Rejsebillet Right now you can
- Buy tickets for multiple travellers at the same time (adults, children, pensioners, bicycles and dogs)
- Buy Commuter Card and Commute20 in Rejsebillet
- Youth card – See how (from 11 June 2025)
- Corporate cards (Autumn 25)
- Purchase of City Pass (Autumn 25)
- Purchase of Event Tickets (Autumn 25)
- Travel with a discount as a pensioner aged over 67
- Check in extra travellers, bicycles and dogs
- Get help to remember to check out with the ‘Smart check-out’ feature
- Children and young people under 18, can use the app (register with a parent/guardian)
- Pensioners aged under 67 with discounts (Autumn 25)
- Persons of the customer type discount ‘Handicapped’ (Autumn 25)
Why is the DOT Tickets app being closed down?
The DOT Tickets app will be closed down at the end of 2025. Some ticket types will be discontinued earlier to ensure that you do not have any unused tickets in the app when it is closed down.
You will be notified in the app when changes occur and when you need to switch to one of the new apps.
We recommend that you download one or both apps well in advance so that you are ready for your upcoming journeys.
Yes, it is still possible to buy physical tickets from ticket machines and at serviced sales outlets. And until 2026 you can still use your Rejsekort as a card.
An alternative solution is being worked on for those travellers who are unable or do not want to use an app. The new ticket type and new card readers will be ready for use throughout Denmark in 2026. Read more about the new ticket type
City Pass will be moved to the Travel Ticket app before the DOT Ticket app closes. You can also continue to buy City Pass as a ticket in ticket machines and at serviced sales outlets.
Your Company Card and Business Card will be moved to the Rejsebillet app during the fall.
You will automatically be notified in the DOT Ticket app when it is time to switch apps.Alternatives to Departure Boards and Favorite Journey features in the DOT tickets app:
- In Rejseplanen, you can use the Departureboards function,
where you can quickly find your favorite departures.
You can mark your favorite stops or stations with a star so that they are always at the top of the list. This way you don't have to search for your favorite stops every time. And you can sort departures by specific means of transport so that you only see the ones you need.
Guide to setting up departure boards on Rejseplanen - If you travel mostly by train, you can use the Mittog app - where you can see and save train stations.
It has not yet been clarified whether Departure Boards and Favorite Journey will be continued in other apps, so you can follow the plans for new initiatives regarding traffic information on Facebook, here at dinoffentligetransport.dk or on the Rejsekortet website

There are no changes in the DSB app.
In the DSB app, you can buy tickets in advance, including Orange tickets and commuter cards, and you can check in and out just like with a Rejsekort travel card.
Questions regarding Rejsebillet and Rejsekort as an app
With Rejsekort as an app, you can easily check in and out on your journey. With Rejsebillet, you can buy tickets and commuter cards in advance. Perhaps you will only need one of the two apps, or maybe both of them.
- If you are currently only using the DOT Tickets app, Rejsebillet will be the app that is most similar to the DOT Tickets app.
- If you are using the DOT Tickets app as a supplement to your Rejsekort, you will probably benefit from using both apps for different travel situations.
You must continue to use the DOT Ticket app as long as you have a valid commuter card there. During the autumn, it will no longer be possible to renew your commuter card in the DOT Ticket app and you will instead have to buy a new commuter card in Rejsebillet. You will be notified in the app when it is time to switch to Rejsebillet.
Rejsebillet app requires:
- iPhone: iOS 14.0 or later
- Android: OS 10 or later
DOT Tickets app requires:
- iPhone: iOS 15.0 or later
- Android: OS 8.0 or later
This means that if you are currently using the DOT Tickets app on an iPhone, you will also be able to use the Rejsebillet app.
The vast majority of Android phones will also support Rejsebillet. However, if your operating system is older than OS 10, you’ll need to update it. See how to update your Android phone
Rejsebillet is not supported on phones that are too old to upgrade to at least Android OS version 10.
